Is the thobe really opaque over black?

Yes. Every Thowba thobe is tested against a black background before it leaves our factory. If yours shows any transparency over black during normal wear, email us and we'll replace it free. No questions asked.

What fabric is AL FAJR made from?

Egyptian Giza cotton — mercerized for a quiet sheen and sanforized for dimensional stability. Mercerization gives the fabric a silky, refined softness and means it gets better with every wash. The construction ensures complete opacity.

Where is it made?

We work with a specialized manufacturer with decades of experience producing premium thobes for Gulf clients. Our partner was chosen specifically for their expertise with quality modest wear.

How do I find my size?

Measure your chest and your height without shoes. Then use our sizing guide to find the right combination. Still unsure? Email hello@thowba.com with your measurements and we'll recommend the right fit personally.

Why three length options?

Because it's the single biggest problem with buying thobes online in America. Men don't know if it'll be too short or too long. We solved it by offering 54", 56", and 58" lengths depending on size — so every man can find his perfect fit.

Is the price the same for all sizes?

Yes. $210 flat for every size from S to 3XL. We don't charge more for larger sizes.

How long does shipping take?

5–8 business days within the US. Free shipping on orders over $150.

Can I return it if it doesn't fit?

Yes — 14-day returns on unworn items, no questions asked. Email hello@thowba.com to start a return and we'll send a prepaid label within 24 hours.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes — Canada and the UK currently. More countries coming soon.

How do I care for the thobe?

Hand wash or 30° gentle cycle. Do not tumble dry. Iron on medium while slightly damp for best results. The fabric improves with washing — it gets softer over time.
